Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center
Wolf
Birds-of-Prey -This outreach program includes live hawks, owls, falcons, and eagles.
They travel to nearby schools to teach children about these
birds.
Naturalist Cabin- it is located in between the two wolf habitats. Visitors can experience two seperate wolf packs from inside the cabin. Inside, you can learn about wolves through daily "pack chats."
History- West Yellowstone Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center was started by Lewis S. Robinson in 1993. It was intended as a sanctuary for bears that were removed from the wild. At first, it was named Grizzly Discovery Center. In 2002, it was renamed Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.
River Valley Wolves- The River Valley Wolves are one of the two packs you can see at the Center. They can be watched playing games of chase. The wolves interact with the centers older pack by howling and looking through the cabin windows.
