Norris Geyser Basin
Norris Geyser Basin
Norris Geyser Basin is named after the second Superintendent, Philetus W. Norris. The Norris Geyser Basin goes though a lot of changes like over periods of time such as temperature, PH level change, and color change the Norris Geyser Basin. It is the hottest geyser in the Yellowstone National Park. In 1929 a group of scientist tested the geyser temperature they found it to be 4010 F. All the different changes makes the Geyser fun to explore, but hard to predict the changes and when it it going to erupt. The Norris Geyser Basin was the last major Geyser found at Yellowstone National Park. Also it has trail that lead from the Museum that leads you straight to the Geyser. This Geyser was found by two people that were near Bunsen Peak in October 1872.
