Yellowstone Falls
The Yellowstone falls are actually two falls; upper and lower falls. This picture is of the lower falls which fall a staggering 308 feet when the water comes over the fall. The upper falls fall 109 feet. The lower falls decend from the 590,000 year old Canyon Rhyolite lava flow. These falls were discovered in 1846 by Jim Bridger.
